Significant trust gaps appear between fast-growing companies and others when it comes to protecting the company
from cyber threats, improving business results, and helping to shape and guide strategy. In these areas, executives at
fastest growing companies say they place far more trust in their digital leaders' performance than other executives do.
There are also striking differences in the level of trust between CEOs, CFOs, and COOs, with CEOs generally more
confident about their tech leadership, CFOs and COOs more skeptical. For example, 88% of CEOs say they can always or
almost always trust their technology leaders to avoid outages, but just over 60% of CFOs and COOs say the same.
All companies reported reasonable trust in their CIOs and CTOs on the fundamentals. However, faster growth companies are more likely
to trust their technology leaders notably more across the board, in particularly these areas:
